Competitive Teams are comprised of students who auditioned through level testing in Ballet,
Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip-Hop to represent the school at concerts, conventions,
competitions and
other performances. Extra classes in those subjects and other training classes are taken by all
company members each week. As ambassadors of 1852 Dance,
all Teams are governed by
strict rules and obligations which benefit them and the school.

Teams are for the dancers that wants to take dance to the next level. It involves
commitment, dedication, passion, hard work, eagerness to learn and a lot of extra effort. What
your child will gain from the experience of being an 1852 company dancer is priceless--as both
